Working Day:
A day rate is based on a maximum 12 hours of work per day including traveling to/from site
12+ hours will be charged at 1.5x day rate, 18+ hours will be charged at 2x day rate
When a work day includes an overnight shift, the preceding day will also be charged for (for example, a shift that starts at 9pm and finishes at 9am will be charged as 2 days)
Travel days are charged at a full day rate
Prep days are charged at a full day rate plus travel and accommodation expenses
Expenses:
You agree to cover reasonable expenses including (but not limited to):
Travel to/from site, hotels, airports etc (charged at £0.45/mile if using my own vehicle or at cost if using public transport)
Car parking charges
London Congestion Charge/ULEZ/Toll charges where applicable
Meals if not already provided
Per Diems if appropriate
Overnight:
If working away from home for more than 1 day you will provide a hotel (minimum Premier Inn quality) and evening meal. The hotel must have a secure car park if I am expected to use my own vehicle to travel
Hotels will be booked on a SINGLE OCCUPANCY/NON SHARING basis. In the rare case where hotel room quantities are unavailable locally or a dual occupancy hotel room is expected, a ‘shared bedroom’ rate of £150 per night will be added to your invoice
Payment terms:
All invoices shall be settled within 30 days of the invoice date
If not settling an invoice in full, a payment schedule must be sent in advance
Interest will be charged on invoices that remain unpaid after the due date. The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 applies to all invoices. In addition, an admin charge of £295 will apply to all late invoices
Any invoice discrepancies must be notified within 7days of the invoice date and not when payment is due or already late
Cancelation:
7 or more days notice – no charge
3 – 7 days notice – 50% of total rate agreed
less than 3 days notice – full rate as agreed
